I am pleased to announce the release of my fifth solo album, Making Conversation, on Black Truffle Records. This album brings together three pieces that were commissioned between 2021 – 2023. Each piece was instigated for a unique context; A sound installation for 8-channel diffusion at the Tabakalera in Donostia/San Sebastian Spain, an online piece for Issue Project Room’s (NY) wonderful With Women’s Work project, and my first foray into using MIDI to compose for the Multitrack Music Machine project instigated by Chloe Alexandra Thompson and the Metacreation Lab at Simon Fraser University.

These pieces, though conceptually unique in themselves, relate to each other through the nature of the physical concrete sounds and tools that I chose to work with. They also focus distinctly on percussion, texture, movement and spatialization.

I have so much gratitude to each of the venues and curators who invited me to create these pieces and to all who assisted me in the process. Big thanks (as always) to Oren Ambarchi for being such a tremendous supporter of my work.
