This weekend i will travel to Moscow to create a site-specific sound sculpture titled Piling Pelion Upon Ossa at the former GES-2 power station. This piece will be presented as part of a very exciting festival/program titled Geometry of Now. The weeklong event is curated by UK artist/curator Mark Fell and presented by the V-A-C Foundation. The festival takes place from Feb 20 – 27 and will feature an array of installations, lectures and performances by a truly exciting group of artists. I’m honoured to be a part of this special event with this new piece and also as part of a panel discussion on Curating Contemporary Sound Art and Music. I’m very excited to get to work next week on what could prove to be one of my most laborious pieces.
